Alumni and Friends Association raising funds for student scholarships

BELLEFONTAINE – Ohio Hi-Point Career Center’s Alumni and Friends Association is raising funds to benefit its new scholarship fund.  The organization is selling Ohio Hi-Point Career Center t-shirts, “hoodie” sweatshirts and polo shirts to raise money for high school and adult education scholarships.  The sale is underway and all orders must be turned in on or before May 1.
    “As we continue to grow and expand our Association, we are focused on our core mission, which is to provide scholarships for students enrolled in Ohio Hi-Point Career Center’s high school and adult education programs,” said Perry Payne, president of the Association.
    T-shirts are $10, “hoodie” sweatshirts are $25 and polo shirts are $20.  All proceeds will go towards one high school student scholarship and one adult education student scholarship. 
    Order forms are available by visiting ohiohipoint.com or by emailing Shane Haggerty, communications coordinator, at shaggerty@ohp.k12.oh.us, and requesting one.  All orders must be received on or before May 1.
